The Rundown: Musashi and Sir Charles enter an uneasy truce as they look for help against the dragon.

In the wake of the dragon attack, Musashi gifts Charles his sword back, but still refuses to free the rest of his men. The language barrier between the two forces continue to be a problem while Baggi finds himself captured while hiding his stolen goods.

Musashi’s forces take Charles and the rest of his team into the forest to find witches who might have what they need to fight the dragon. As they make their way deeper into the woods, they are set upon by more creatures and Charles’ actions convince them to free the others before they finally find the witches who offer Musashi a dangerous choice.

The Story: A consistently thrilling and entertaining story with great action and adventure mixed throughout. Dastmalchian continues to create great character moments for both sides of the story and the language issues are a great dramatic addition to an already engaging series. This issue also has some great horror elements added to it and I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The Art: Mele delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. I love the character designs, the dynamic action and the visceral horror on every page and panel.
